Does the power transmission gearbox incorporated in any type of vehicle?
The power transmission gearboxmay be incorporated in any type of vehicle. The gearbox will in general however be most useful with heavy-duty vehicles which are also normally provided with four-wheel drive transmission systems. In such systems gearbox is required to split the drive from the engine between the front and rear wheels. The output shaft is therefore preferably adapted for connection to two drive trains extending in opposite directions from the gearbox.
