Structure of the cast iron butterfly valve
Cast iron butterfly valve, as one type of the specified butterfly valves, is regarded as the rotary valves because they use radial motion to open and close. Commonly, many types of the are controlled by levers that only require a 90° turn. With the rotation within 90 degree, the cast iron butterfly valve can act well just like a throttle valve or a stop valve.
